This year MileStat is happy to announce that we will once again be conducting the State Meet Fantasy Draft. With the State meets being June 5th and 6th the Draft will be held the weekend prior to assure all regional results are in.
So mark your calendars now! Tuesday, June 2nd around 6pm is when the draft is slated to go off!
Here is how it will work, depending on the number of people we get interest from we will conduct the draft selecting 5 people each. This is done through email and the site and in snake fashion. That means the picks go: 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 and so on.
For those seriously interested. Please send me an email at Njez@milesplit.com . Once we get a head count on it this year we can decide if we will do a 20 individual draft or two separate drafts with the first individuals being in the championship league and the others not.
The individuals who competed last year will have first dibs on a spot this year as we reward active participation. Also, amongst those competing from last year, the top few will receive that spot in the draft. That means Anthony Cetto, if he so choses to compete again this year will have the first pick. This goes for the top few only that are back, others who placed near the bottom will be in the drawing for new positions.
