Virginia Specific Preview: Girls' Relays - Boys' Relays - Girls' Individuals - Boys' Individuals

Winning Virginia's first national title of the weekend was Western Branch's boys swedish relay team (100-200-300-400) breaking their own meet record from 2013 in 1:52.64. This team was comprised of Akinshe Hill (100), Stephan Arjoon (200), Micaiah Harris (300), and Tyson Robinson (400). This will hopefully also be the first of many titles for WB this weekend as they are hoping for big things in the medleys.

Also snagging All-American honors was Lee-Davis finishing 6th in a time of 1:58.76.

The girls version of this featuring an amazing race that saw Nansemond River or as they go this weekend, Team War, running 2:10.97 to finish in 4th place with All-American honors. This team was more impressive considering they ran without Brandee' Johnson who is saving her legs for the 400h as well as some of their other relays. They made up ground without her though with some impressive splits and pr's.

In the girls 5,000 we saw Libby Davidson have a 7 second pr running 16:50.89 to finish as an all-american and third overall. She will also be in the mile and 2 mile over the next two days in attempts to get some more medals this weekend.
