MileSplit Podcast: Drew Hunter Talks About The Future

On this week's MileSplit podcast, we talked to newly minted national record holder Drew Hunter (conversation starts at 0:40) and then chatted about the crazy weekend in track & field and what records might go down next (starting at 19:25).

For a taste, here's Drew Hunter on...

What he listens to when snow forces him to the treadmill: "The new Future album, or Drake. That's my go-to jam out music."

On the best high school boys distance runner of all time: "In my opinion, Alan Webb...his range is incredible. Alan was a special athlete, he could run 48 seconds for 400 or 8:30 for two miles."

What it's like being one of nine kids: "I came home [from the meet] last night and had to do the dishes, because that's my chore. Regardless of whether I win or set a national record, I'm still Drew at home...My siblings don't treat me like a national record holder, I'm just Drew to them."

On running the 400: "I want to break 50, but there will be no speed suit. I will look like a distance runner."
