Tuscarora (VA) senior Fitsum Seyoum will be racing against two of Maryland's top rising senior distance runners in 1A state champion Will Merritt of Smithsburg and Micah Hewitson of Linganore in the boys 1500 meter run. Seyuom happens to be the cousin of Foot Locker National champion Weini Kelati.
Two days away from the first ever DMV Meet of the Elite, which should serve as an annual springboard event for many of the elite athletes in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area as they move into their post-season national and summer meets. The meet should also become a regular fun season ending event for others and last chance opportunity to throw down one fast time for the outdoor season. For those who cannot make it Saturday evening to Patriot High School in Nokesville, Virginia, the meet will be live streamed on MileSplit!
