Track season is here and we are counting down 10 of the biggest stars returning this season. This list does not include XC athletes and only includes athletes who are track specific athletes.
Counting Down The Top 10 Track Stars
#4 Syaira Richardson
It is no mistake that we are choosing Syaira as our #4 returner considering last year she broke the 400m state record by running a stellar 53.38. She did this after winning her second straight outdoor state title in the 400.
This season though she has a couple things on her mind. She will definitely be going after some fast 300 and 500 times but most importantly will be working towards finally taking home an indoor state title individually.
Though she returns as one of the fastest girls in the entire nation and the greatest ever for VA at 400, she is certainly going to have quite a few talented girls in the lanes next to her. But if outdoor track was any indication of things to come, this season could be scary fast.
We know for a fact that her coach, Justin Byron, will try and keep her talent under wraps for as long as he can but it is clear that Syaira is in the best shape of her life and this season it looks like the 500 could be event.
