NEW YORK, Ny. - Despite tough competition and a heavy workload this weekend, the Western Branch boys' 4x200 took complete care of business in a 1:26.96 winning effort. This time ranks second fastest ever at New Balance Indoor Nationals and also second fastest ever in the state of Virginia.
The relay team was comprised of Micaiah Harris, Jahkwan Blackley, Garry Williams, and Alfrandre Paige. Fellow 757 team, Phoebus was an impressive second place in 1:27.74.
Harris and Blackley got things started quickly in a combined 42.88 seconds with Williams splitting 22.08 on third and Paige (only a sophomore) splitting 22.00 on anchor.
