Due to the heavy rain weather forecast for the Richmond area on Friday night, meet management has decided to cancel this year's Southern Track Classic for the safety of the state's top tier athletes who would otherwise have to compete in adverse conditions. All entry fees will be refunded and the meet looks forward to being back in 2018 with better weather.
