No More Football for Potomac Senior's Donovan Louis

MileStat's Jim McGrath not only covers track & field but also is the go to guy when it comes to football. That inside scoop garnered him some great insight this season where he was the first to report that Potomac Senior's Donovan Louis was dropping football to focus on track.

Check out Donovan's Athlete Profile

This is not only a great move for Donovan and his likely success to come but also a scary warning for all other 5A athletes even thinking they can beat him. Take Grant Holloway for example, look what one year without football did to him and imagine that type of improvement happening in Dumfries as well.

Right now Louis owns personal bests of 6.39, 10.51, 21.79, and an impressive 24-8 in the long jump. Aside from Cole Beck (Blacksburg), no one in the state could have a chance at stopping him if he has another strong year of improvements. He has improved .4 every year in the 100... you can't say much more.
