It is with much regret that I must announce that Dinwiddie High School will not be hosting the Southern Track Classic this year. This was a difficult decision to make but one that was made in the best interest of the competitors, other meet participants, and the reputation of this track meet. We have all come to expect an outstanding event that produces stellar performances. With changes in school personnel, my work schedule and unanticipated personal issues, I do not feel that we can stage an event of the magnitude that all of us have come to expect.
I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes.
Look for this event next year on the traditional Southern Track Classic weekend.
