Mills Godwin's Britton Wilson is certainly one of Virginia's best shots at a national title this weekend. She finished third last year and this year looks to be the favorite for the 400m national title. She owns a personal best of 53.25 from last year. That time helped her become the sophomore national class record holder last year.
This year she has shown nothing but improvements in all the right ways. She has improved her 300m pr to 38.38 and 500m pr to 1:12.28. Both of those times rank as US #1 and won her titles at the VA Showcase. She also went on to win the 5A State Titles in both events.
