18 Things To Look For During The VA Outdoor Track Season #11

Since moving to VA from MD Jabari Bennett has been on another level. He has improved his best in the shot put from 59' to 64-6.5. That improvement combined with his undefeated in-state record this indoor season is why what he will do is one of the most anticipated things this outdoor season.

Check out Jabari's Athlete Profile Here

From his first competition it was evident that Jabari was going to be on another level compared to his Virginia counterparts. He started the season throwing 57-6.25 and improved every single competition until Nationals. That is five times in a row that he improved his season best.

Looking back, that could be more telling than anything else for what is to come. His coach will be the first one to tell you the same that their is a lot left in the tank so far.

No one throws a personal record every time they step into the ring but few also throw consistently this good. That leads us to believe there is a chance of a 70' throw this outdoor season if Jabari gets that perfect put.
