Lockhart blazes home course in 15:25!
Sherando boys and Potomac Falls girls look tough to beat

WINCHESTER, VA -- At the 2000 John Handley Invitational, Bobby Lockhart had another lonely race as the John Handley (AA) junior won the boys' race in a time of 15:25 seconds, a minute ahead of the rest of the competition.

A minute after Lockhart finished was two Sherando (AAA) runners at 16:29 as sophomore Ryan Foster and junior Jared Prunty led the way as their team went onto win the team title with 62 points.

After winning last week's James Wood Invitational, Stonebridge's (AA) Chelsea Henderson was knocked off by Potomac Falls's (AA) Christy Dannenburg who crossed the finish line in a time of 19:10. Dannenburg's team was just as impressive as Potomac Falls won the girls title, packing in 4 runners into the top 15 with a score of 52 points.
