What If The VHSL Held States at One Place...

Hosting a track meet -- more specifically a championship meet -- is about four major considerations. First and foremost are the athletes. The meet is centered around them and should be conducive to great performances. The second is the facility. Does it have the adequate space to house the athletes, fan seating, restrooms, and parking? Third is cost. Can the state association afford the price tag that comes with consideration #2. Finally, there is the schedule. Can all events, for all classifications, be contested in one place on a realistic timeline?

Here we will try to answer "what if'" the state outdoor championships became more like cross country states where all the classifications converged on a single location.
