York junior Ryah Hinds could be just the third girl in VA in recent history to win the sprint triple crown. That's right, she could very well win the 3A State titles in the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes.

After winning two state titles indoors the writing was on the wall, this was going to be a big year. Ryah has continued that momentum into the outdoor season going undefeated in the 100 (6-0) and almost undefeated in the 200 (6-1).
Ryah is not only winning but also improving at a strong rate. She pr'd in all three races the last time she ran them going 12.11, 24.48, and 56.65. Those times rank VA #1 for all three distances in the 3A classification.
