The team of Kylan Booker (1st), Emmanuel Carpenter (4th), Andre Fields (3rd), and Christopher Joseph (2nd) not only won the Group 6 Occoquan Regional title but they also ran a VA #1 & VA #18 All-time 41.50. That time is the fastest Northern Region time since T.C. Williams had the Lyles brothers running on their team.
Individually Hayfield did superb as well. Carpenter took third in the open 100 (10.84), Joseph took 5th (11.07) and Fields took 6th (11.14). In the 200m dash Joseph finished 4th in 21.98 and Fields finished 7th in 22.54.
Hayfield ended up scoring a solid 35 team points at the regional championships.
