Class 6A Alignment
The biggest change here is definitely the addition of Region A and Region B into one Region A (East/West). This move was made due to none of the Northern Schools wanting to have to go down to Richmond and the subtraction of Manchester, Clover Hill, Granby, Bayside, Cox, and First Colonial.
Almost all of those changes have little to do with school size and more about the affordability of the travel to schools well outside of their direct district.
The Northern Region is also one of the quickest growing regions in the state, population wise, while VA Beach is losing its population.
