Coach Plummer (L) and Coach Watson (R) are the newest UT additions to the track and field staff
On June 13th, Coach Edrick Floreal was named the new head track and field coach at the University of Texas. Since then, he has been on a mission to complete his staff.
Today, he announced Pete Watson to the coaching staff for the Men's distance and XC. Watson comes to Texas after an impressive tenure at the University of Virginia since 2012.
He also recently named Pattisue Plumer to his staff as an assistant track coach (women's distance) and cross country.
Plummer brings experience in both coaching and competing. Most recent she was the head track and cross country coach at Gunn High School in Palo Alto, Ca and for the Stanford Running Club. As an athlete, she was is a two-time Olympian.
