The 4x2 Debate: Who Runs First or Last?

Anchors Away: Back loading

Ok, so the most common idea is to have your fastest runner run last. This strategy is pretty simple. Your fastest runner is usually the most competitive one as well. They are likely to split something insane to help you win. Having them run last allows you give them someone to chase and let the race come to them.

The obvious downside though is that if you are behind it means chasing and potentially not running in lane one. This can be both a positive and negative based on how seasoned they are indoors.
