Sophomores Who Could Win A State Title

VHSL Class 3

In Class 3 there are just two athletes who lead the competition entering the weekend and they are both in the jumps. The first is Zahria Shaw of I.C. Norcom with her 18-1.5 mark in the long jump. The second is Stephanie Robson of Culpeper County who has jumped 37-6.75 thus far in the triple.

Both of these ladies have good competition around them but they are the favorites for a reason. They are also joined by another four sophomores ranked second and Jahee Blake of Heritage who is ranked third in the hurdles but just 0.20 seconds away from top seed.
