The Highland Springs Invite and its' 400 was billed to be one of the best this year and it did not disappoint. It was so fast in fact that it featuring Britton Wilson running the fastest 400 in state history with her 52.06 clocking. That broke Syaira Richardson's record of 52.2.

Her time also ranks US No. 1 this season and puts her in prime position to take home her first national title after finishing second indoors.

The most impressive part of this time though is that she was competing last night at 9pm and ran a US No. 1 40.78 in the 300mH at the Southern Track Classic. That time ranks VA No. 2 All-Time.

Britton also holds the 500m indoor state record, run at the VA Showcase and ranks US No. 3 All-Time indoors at the 300m distance behind just Sydney McLaughling and Francena McCorory.
