Michaela Rose, only a sophomore, is already setting state records. This weekend she broke Sarah Bowman's 13 year old state 800 record with her 2:04.38 national title in the 800 meter run. That was just hours after also finishing second overall in the 400mH.
She also won the emerging elite 400 meter dash on Saturday with a quick 55.20.
She ends her season ranked #1 all-time in Virginia in the 800, #8 all-time in Virginia in the 400mH, and with 12-0 race record on the season.
