MileStat's Coach of The Year is Stan Holloway

Winning the 2019 Outdoor T&F Coach of The Year award is Oscar Smith and Track 757's coach Stan Holloway. He wins this award in large part to his dominant coaching in the hurdles this year.

His athletes made history at NBNO by sweeping the hurdle races. They won the shuttle hurdle relay, won the 400mH, and won the 110mH national titles. That feat may never be repeated again.

Coach Stan as he is known is not only a coach who coaches elite athletes but a coach who develops talent at every level of the sport and clearly makes it his mission to improve every one of his athlete's lives.

This past winter he was nominated for a community service award at the 8th annual 900 Men Strong Scholarship and Community Service Award breakfast. That just shows you how he is shaping lives both on and off the track.

He is a non-stop coach with both high school and club track going all year as well as making time to see his sons compete in the collegiate and post-collegiate ranks.

He also joins Grassfield's James Nixon (2018), Maury's Iman Islam (2017), Nansemond River's Justin Byron (2016), Western Branch's Claude Toukene (2015), and Maggie Walker's Jim Holden (2014) as an Outdoor Track award winner.
