Speaking of small school stars, Kensey May is also a name to watch this XC season. She enters with a 18:44 best and with hopes of winning her first state title. She was second a year ago but has improved season over season.
Kensey also ran her personal best of 18:44 completely solo in the "B" race at the MileStat.com XC Invitational. That means when pushed she could be 20 or more seconds faster. She is our #14 ranked athlete preseason.
