Occasionally everything lines up at the right time. This year seems to be one of those years with many girls right at or under 18 minutes. Historically it has taken around that to qualify to Foot Locker Nationals.
This year's Foot Locker South race is one of the most anticipated races of the season. Though states does mean a lot, it is truly something special to qualify to Foot Locker Nationals.
Months away Virginia has 5-10 girls vying for one of those ten spots and that is why it is our #9 race.
