It looks like Colgan may have another star on their hands and with Dave Davis coaching you can bet he is going to be stronger than ever this XC season. He has two all-state finishes to his name and boasts a XC pr of 15:49.
The crazy thing here is the resemblance of his times to that of Colgan's Antonio Lopez who also improved like him week over week. By Lopez's second year with Coach Davis he was winning state titles.
Last XC season Lentz opened with a 17:31 but the next three weeks is why he is our preseason #2 breakthrough star. Those three weeks he went from 17:31 to 16:35 to 16:19 to 15:49. He finished he season out with a 5th place finish at states.
This cross country season could be a special one for this rising junior star at Colgan.
