One of the biggest storylines of the season will be Western Albemarle and their quest to make Nike Cross Nationals. They return six of their seven from last year and with an average under 16:00 they are in serious contention for an at-large berth.
Most years that would guarantee a team into NXN but with Loudoun Valley and rivals Albemarle also in their region it could be much harder than anticipated.
Leading the way for WA will be the trio of Joe Hawkes, Jack Eliason, and hopefully a healthy Stuart Terrill. If all three of them are healthy this is going to be a special team to watch.
