5. Bryce Lentz... Breakout Race Time?
One thing we are definitely looking forward to is seeing Bryce on this fast course. He was our preseason #2 breakthrough star and this race could prove exactly why. He won his JV race last year at Great Meadow and ran 17:31.
By the end of the season he was running 15:49! He ultimately finished 5th in XC and 3rd outdoors in the 3200 in the entire state.
This weekend's race should be a rust-buster but also a test for how fast he could be this season. He 100% is a dark horse to take home the individual title in the "A" race.
