After months of renovation and improvements, the fastest flat track in the country is back and ready for action next weekend.
Boo Williams' track, now owned and operated by the City of Hampton, had planned for resurfacing and some improvements for the past two years. Crews were able to get to it this fall and that led to December meets being cancelled... the wait was worth it though!
This new surface is thicker and stronger and should produce some very fast times. All that is left to do is to line the track and finish the brand new video board. Check out the photos below.
There are 16 meets scheduled right now for the month of January at this venue.
