Hertage's Shawn Webb Indoor Coach of The Year!

Heritage (Lynchburg) Coach, Shawn Webb is the 2020 Indoor T&F MileStat Coach of The Year. He wins this award in no small part from his athletes' dominance at the state meet. Webb is the jumps and sprints coach who saw his athletes score 64 points in the jumps at the Class 3 State meet. Including 23 points in the triple jump and 20 points in the long jump.

Coach Webb is not the only mastermind though at Heritage High School. He is joined by head Theo McIvor who also manages sprints and hurdles and Head Coach Donald Alexander who does high jump and mid-distance. Their team success at states was a team effort both by athletes and coaches.

He joins Brian Porter (Christiansburg - 2019), Mark Love (Patrick Henry - 2018), Cherie Witt (Western Albemarle - 2017), Van Porter (E.C. Glass - 2016), and Jeff Artis (Western Branch - 2015) as an Indoor award winner. He also joins James Nixon (Grassfield -  Outdoors 2018 COY) and Artis as one of the few assistant coaches to win this award.
