Grant Holloway, just 23 years old, ran 7.29 to break the world record in the 60mH on Wednesday to close out his indoor season.
Grant has been on a blazing circuit over in Europe racking up an undefeated streak and running the American record twice, once in the prelims Wednesday.
Meet staff left everyone on pins & needles though since the first time posted was 7.32 (his American record) and then two minutes later they posted the 7.29 which surely was double and triple checked prior to posting. That betters the previous record of 7.30 by just .01 seconds.
