Class 2 Girls 1600m Run
One of the performances that cannot be overlooked with this month's state meet is that of Glenvar's Carly Wilkes. The Glenvar junior won the 1600m run (4:54), came back just minutes later to take home the 1K title (3:00.41), and brought her team home splitting a 65 in the 4x400m relay.
Those three golds helped scored 30 of Glenvar's 65 team points. That helped them win the state team title by seven points over Poquoson.
