Coaches,
There have been several inquiries about this weekend’s meet and what we are planning as far as the weather goes. We have been trying to figure out how to handle this for the last few days as we watched the storm track become more and more certain to affect the meet. Here is the plan that we have come up with:
We are continuing with the meet as planned for Friday afternoon/evening. However, we are about 90% sure that all of Saturday’s events will be cancelled due to the weather. We are going to make the call on Saturday’s events at approximately 8:00pm Friday night. If, and when, we cancel this Saturday’s events (Jan. 30), we would like to reschedule this Saturday’s events for next Saturday (Feb. 6). If you are uncomfortable with the uncertainty of this Saturday, and you are not interested in the reschedule for next Saturday, you may withdraw from the entire meet and we will send you a full refund. If you would like to participate this Friday, and we end up canceling this Saturday, we will refund exactly half of your registration fee if you are not interested in participating next Saturday (Feb. 6).
If possible, please let Marshall Ware know of your intentions by 10:00am Friday Jan. 29th.
This is the best solution to a bad situation. I appreciate your understanding.
