TJ\'s Addison gets revenge on Maryland\'s Pulliam

ROCKVILLE, MD -- Thomas Jefferson HS senior Jeannie Addison is going to have to build an extension to her medal rack as she won her 3rd major invitational of the season as she won the seeded girls race at the Georgetown Prep Classic in a time of 18:58.23. She also got revenge on Karen Pulliam of Orchard Park HS (MD), who beat Addison by a wide margin at W&M. Pulliam finished as runner-up this time in a time of 19:11.28. Addison\'s teammate, Ashley Seaton, also had a good race as she was the next VA girl to finish as she placed 7th with a time of 19:58.59. Addison and Seaton\'s performance helped their Thomas Jefferson squad place 2nd in the meet with a score of 143 points. Ocean Lakes junior Matt Keally had the best race out of all the male runners from Virginia as he took runner-up honors to Georgetown Day School\'s (MD) Ben Stern (15:43.21) with a time of 15:52.38. Other Virginia runners to place in the top 15 were Harrisonburg senior Jorge Ruiz (4th, 16:03.92), Thomas Jefferson junior John Piersol (8th, 16:20.74), West Springfield junior James Feeney (12th, 16:38.28), and Bishop O\'Connell senior Dan Antalics (14th, 16:47.69). Feeney\'s race helped his West Springfield squad to a second place finish with 147 points as nationally ranked Good Counsel of Maryland took the team title with 125 points.
