Kitur Named Big South Men's Indoor Track AOTW

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – VMI's Felix Kitur has been named the Big South Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon.

Kitur comes off a weekend where he won his first career individual IC4A title, as he claimed the event win in the 800-meters with his 1:50.38 clocking. The junior finished three-tenths of a second ahead of Nick Wade from Cornell, and was also able to beat Donte Holmes of Delaware State, who entered ranked 19th in the nation.

VMI track and field returns to action March 26, as the Keydets host the Military Championships at Foster Stadium.
