LEXINGTON, Va. - The VMI Athletic Media Relations office has announced the coverage for this weekend's Military Track and Field Championships, set for Friday and Saturday at Read Memorial Track inside Foster Stadium. The coverage will include a live blog, Twitter notes and frequently updated results for the event, which begins at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.

"Blogging has been an excellent tool to provide in-depth, unprecedented coverage of VMI track and field on prior occasions, including the 2009 Big South Outdoor Championships," said VMI head coach Darrin Webb. "We hope that everyone who can't make it out this weekend can follow along via one of these methods."

The live blog is expected to follow the pattern of that blog used at the 2009 Big South Outdoor Championships, although it may be a bit less comprehensive as to allow all fans to more easily follow the meet. Periodic updates will be posted on the VMI Athletic Media Relations' Twitter page, and results will be updated online approximately every 90 to 120 minutes. Links to the appropriate Twitter and results pages are below, and a link to the blog will be posted on VMIKeydets.com prior to the meet.
