Lake Braddock Hall of Fame Invite (Day 1): Sophie Chase 10:39, Hicks 2:14, Ledder 1:52

A distance oriented Friday night at Lake Braddock High School to start off their Hall of Fame Invitational which honored and inducted past great Bruins athlete and current University of Oklahoma coach Dana Boone on Friday evening. A stellar girls 3200 race between Sophie Chase and Ariel Karabinus lived up to its billing with the two runners running stride for stride for over 7 laps including a 5:16 first 1600 meters split until Chase was able to separate in the bell lap for a three second win in 10:39. The first event of the evening was the 800 meter run which saw both Myah Hicks (2:14) and Billy Ledder (1:52) take charge with swift first 400 meter splits at 65 seconds and 53 seconds respectively en route to their impressive wire to wire victories. More to come from Lake Braddock including video and photos of Friday's events by Brandon Miles. Will have Saturday photo coverage by Nicoll Knudsen.
