Cassidy Harris Wins Weight Throw

WILLIAMSBURG, VA - Four-time defending CAA Champion William and Mary women's track and field continued its indoor season this Saturday at Maryland's Terrapin Invitational. Richmond, Georgetown, Hampton, American, Howard, Mt. St Mary's and Bowie State were among a dozen teams which fielded athletes at the meet.

Senior Cassidy Harris (Geneva, IL) led the Green and Gold on a rust-busting day for most of the Tribe. Harris won the weight throw with a distance of 47'7.25" and also claimed runner-up honors in the shot with a throw of 43'7". In the 800m Senior Katie Andres (Sterling, VA) placed eighth in 2:23.70 while sophomore Michelle Wolf (Hummelstown, PA) claimed eighth in the high jump after clearing 4'11.75".
