LYNCHBURG, VA - Junior Bonnie Meekins (Herndon, VA) and sophomore Brenna Blevins (Pulaski, VA) both qualified for ECACs as four-time defending CAA Champion William and Mary women's track and field had three heptathletes in action at Saturday's Liberty Invitational. Meekins led the way with an ECAC-qualifying total of 4,648 points, a personal record which placed Meekins third in the heptathlon. Blevins also qualified for the ECACs with her fourth-place total of 4,597 as it was Blevins debut in the event. 2004 CAA Heptathlon Champion Sarah McHale (Winchester, VA) totaled 4,060 points for sixth, a personal best. Tribe women's track and field returns to action at the Duke Invitational April 8-9.
