Rosie Silvestri (Saint Sebastian Academy) won the 400 meters in 55.44 at the 7th Annual Twilight Classic on May 1, improving from her previous best of 1:05.85 set in April 2026. The freshman's time ranks #7 in Virginia and #1 among state freshmen, while setting a school record.
Jaekwon Ferguson (Heritage, Lynchburg) clocked 10.56 in the 100 meters at the Heritage, JF, Amherst, & Brookville meet on April 29, dropping from his previous personal record of 11.16. The junior's winning time ranks #8 in Virginia and #4 among state juniors, establishing a new school record.
Elijah Reid (Landstown) jumped 22-1 to place third in the long jump at Beach District Meet #3 on April 29, improving from his previous best of 20-4. The senior's mark ranks #46 in Virginia and #26 among state seniors.
Camden Ryba (Fairfax Home School) ran 11:32.04 to finish fourth in the 3200 meters at the 43rd Draper Invitational on May 1, improving from 12:21.68. The time ranks #91 in Virginia and sets a school record. Ryba also recorded a personal best of 5:17.56 in the 1600 meters, down from 5:20.73.
Avery Gibian (St. Stephen's and St. Agnes) placed fifth in the 3200 meters at the Draper Invitational in 11:43.80, improving from 12:08.92. The time ranks #130 in Virginia. Gibian also ran a personal best 5:29.05 in the 1600 meters, improving from 5:29.75.
London Hudson (Colonial Forge) won the discus with a throw of 147-0 at the Caroline Invitational on May 1, improving from 129-9. The freshman's mark ranks #34 in Virginia and #1 among state freshmen.
Marcus Weber (Jefferson Forest) ran 11.02 to place third in the 100 meters at the Heritage, JF, Amherst, & Brookville meet on April 29, improving from 11.50. The freshman's time ranks #108 in Virginia and #10 among state freshmen.
