Virginia Intermont

This week, Virginia Intermont College's men's cross country team will
be
the feature of ChasingTradition.com, an online web journal chronicling
behind-the-scenes details of eleven of the top college cross country
programs in the nation. After ten weeks at programs ranging from NCAA
champions University of Colorado to Ohio State and Notre Dame, site
journalist Matt Taylor will spend the week on the Virginia Intermont
campus in Bristol, Va. and then travel with the team to the NAIA
National championships in Louisville, Ky. Chasingtradition.com will
then tie up the countrywide tour at the NCAA championships in Terre
Haute, Ind. the following Monday. The Cobras are currently ranked #2 in
the nation and the defending national champions.

The Chasingtradition.com web site features daily essays detailing the
training programs of the selected teams, as well as interviews with
coaches and athletes, photos, features, a discussion board and articles
by guest writers. Most of the sites information is available free, but
a $9.95 donation provides readers with insider access to more content.
The teams chronicled this fall also included the University of
Portland, Georgetown, William & Mary, Iona, Dartmouth, NCAA DII
champions Adams State and Wisconsin La Crosse.
