Indoor Weekend Preview

Wakefield returns to the Boo Williams Sportsplex, where they have produced strong performances in the past.

This is week 6 of the indoor season, and the invitational schedule will start to heat up over the next few weeks.  This weekend brings a number of smaller meets (from a North Carolina perspective, at least).  In a literal sense, the JDL Fast Track will host 3 separate mini-meets; in a figurative sense, a handful of our schools will be heading to Virginia to participate in two major invitationals there.

JDL High School Mini Meets (JDL Fast Track, Winston-Salem)

The weekend at the JDL consists of three separate, small meets: One Friday night, one starting Saturday morning, and the final one starting Saturday night.  I'll be working to get a combined set of results from all three of them, hopefully posted by Sunday.

Entry Lists: Mini Meet #1  |  Mini Meet #2  |  Mini Meet #3

Liberty Flames Invitational

The final high school meet at Liberty is very competitive, but the small number of North Carolina athletes in attendance makes it a smaller story for us.

Suffolk Stars Invitational

The Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, VA (near Virginia Beach) hosts several major meets during the winter, and they usually have a few teams from North Carolina.  Teams as diverse as 4A Wakefield and 2A First Flight will compete agains some of the best teams in Virginia, as the Tidewater area always produces a ton of talent.
