The 2019 Nike Cross Southeast Regional will once again be held this weekend at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina gathering the top high school cross country teams as well as many of the top individual runners from the Mid-Atlantic to the Deep South states.
The holiday weekend would not be complete without the annual running of the Foot Locker South Regional. Here many athletes from across the South will compete for just 10 spots to the Foot Locker Nationals Championships out in San Diego.

In the anticipatory hours leading up to the Class 4 boys' race on Saturday, one comment continued to emerge verbally throughout members of the Great Meadow spectators. "Who's going to come in second?"
Although twelve teams qualified for each race at the state cross-country meets held in Salem and The Plains, there were also 20 individuals from each Class who earned the right to run for a state championship.
