It was a day of records at the 2019 Albemarle Invitational. This included the fastest team finishes ever and both course records being broken by Carlos Shultz and Ellie Desmond respectively.

Up in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley is the town of Buena Vista. Home to a whopping 6,650 people or roughly the same amount of people as Lake Braddock and T.C. Williams high school combined.

Two of the biggest performances this weekend down in Cary, North Caroline at Great American were the two new state leading performances by Bethany Graham and Carlos Shultz. Their performances were 17:09 and 14:55 in the Race of Champions.
