Performance list for the CNU Showcase to be held Friday & Saturday, January 6th & 7th in Newport News. MileStat.com will be on-site with photo coverage from Ryan Kelly. Keep in mind the adjusted schedule for this year's meet with Friday portion starting early at 10 AM with majority of events on day one and Saturday portion is expected to conclude by noon due to a CNU basketball game scheduled for 2 PM on Saturday at the Freeman Center. With only herself and the clock to push her, Cosby's Megan Moye nearly lapped the field en route to her US #2 season opening 10:38.39 3200. Impressive meet for the Cosby girls squad as a whole with their 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays picking up victories including a US #8 time of 4:00.82 in the 4x400. (Photo by Ryan Kelly) Arguably one of the best distance runners to come out of the Eastern District, Norview's Marquis Worsley won the 1000 meter run in a spirited battle with York's Jack Little and Atlee's Griffin Carmichael in the second fastest time ran indoors this season in Virginia at 2:35.82.
