Meet Information


Date: Saturday April 21, 2012

Starting Times: Field events begin at 10:00 am; Running events begin at 10:30am

Where: Norfolk State University Campus
William Dick Price Stadium, Norfolk Virginia

Who/Host High School: High School athletes only/Bethel High School.

Eligibility: High School Athletes Only

Facility/Sports Medicine: 400 meter track blocks will be provided, Automatic timing used.
A certified athletics trainer will be on staff for the meet.

Entry Fee: $100.00 per team ($200.00 for Boys and Girls), $25.00 per
individual athlete. (Team consists of 10 members or more.) Entry Fees must be paid at packet pick-up. Please make check payable to Norfolk State University.

Entries: Four (4) entries maximum per event, two (2) relay teams maximum. (No changes
allowed day of meet.) Please use realistic seeding marks so we can match competitors closely to create a competitive atmosphere. All entries will be submitted online through Direct Athletics at

Entry Standards: Starting Heights: Boys Pole Vault 80 ft, Girls Pole Vault
58, Boys High Jump 56, Girls High Jump 42,
Minimum Measures: Girls Long Jump 130, Boys Long
Jump 165, Girls Triple Jump 290, Boys Triple Jump 350

Entry Deadline: Entries will be closed at 11:59 pm on Tuesday April 17, 2012. No one will be
allowed to register the day of event.

Scratches: If you have scratches after entries are closed please call (757) 823-8169
by 5pm on Thursday, April 19, 2012.

Awards: Awards will be administered to the top four finishers in each

Final Results: Can be viewed @ and will be posted under the stadium (East End)

Entrance: Athletes are encouraged to enter the stadium in their team uniform from the west end of the stadium.

Registration/Packet Pick-Up: Gills Gym 7AM-4PM Saturday April, 21, 2012 (Packets are to be picked up by coaches only).

Spectators Admission Fee: Five($5.00) dollars for adults/ Two($2.00) dollars school age children.
Children five (5) years old and under free.

Award Pick-up: Award tent near the east end of the long Jump area.

Medical Tent: Near Finish Line.

Check-In: Event site for all field events. (45 minutes prior to start of event)
Clerk of Course for running events. (45 minutes prior to start of event)

Opening of Track: Track will be open for practice/warm-up from 8:00AM- 9:45AM for all participants and coaches.

Participants/Coaches All participants will be required to wear wrist bands. Each
Credentials: team will be provided three (3) wrist bands for the coaches.
