CATS Classic
March 27, 2013- Glen Allen High School
This meet is limited to JR Tucker, Deep Run, Hermitage & Glen Allen only. All other schools will be rejected.
Facilities: Glen Allen High Schools track is an all-weather surface with 8 lanes, and alley start. Our Shot Put and Discus circles are concrete. Spikes longer than are prohibited.
Entry Deadline: All entries must be in using the MileStat online entry system or by Hy-Tek Team Manager no later than 11:59PM March 25, 2013. No Substitutions or Additions the day of the Meet. Scratches Only
Concessions: There will be a concession stand open during the meet.
Entry Procedure: You are allowed 4 entries per lane event, 4 entries in field events, 6 in distance races. B relays will be permitted.
Other information: There will be FAT timing for all races. All races will be finals. Order will be slowest to fastest. Times will be e-mailed to all coaches following the meet. We will need assistance with Field Event Officials. Please let me know which event you can assist with.
Warm Up Area: Please instruct your athletes to warm up outside the stadium. The track is for races only.
Infield: No athletes will be allowed on the infield unless their event is being run. The area of the finish line/timing area is off limits. Coaches and athletes are asked to stay away from the timing area and keep athletes off the infield (This will help the timing team with sight lines)
Bull Pen: Location will be at the beginning of the home stretch for all running events. Please advise athletes to check in early as we will not hold up the meet for them.
TIME SCHEDULE: WE WILL RUN EVENTS CONSECUTIVELY
5:00 PM Boys Long Jump followed by Triple Jump
Girls Long Jump followed by Triple Jump
Boys High Jump followed by Girls Starting Height Boys 5; Girls 4
Girls Discus followed by Boys
Boys Shot Put followed by Girls
POLE VAULT WILL NOT BE CONTESTED AT THIS MEET
5:15 PM 4x800m (Girls & Boys Combined)
100/110m Hurdles
100m Dash
1600m Run
4x100m Relay
400m Dash
300m Hurdles
800m Run
200m Dash
3200m Run (Girls & Boys Combined)
4x400m Relay
All Running events will be sectioned on time with the fastest section being run last. In the Field Events there will be 3 attempts with no finals with the best competitors going last.
