As it stands now, there is a 50% chance of rain for our meet on Saturday. The race will go on as planned either way. If there is lightning, we will do our best to wait it out. We strongly recommend that each team bring a team tent. We have plenty of room to set them up. We have a permanent covered pavilion, but our t-shirt vendor, concessions, and awards will be set up there, so there will not be room for many people to congregate out of the rain. Have your runners dress and prepare appropriately.

We will have a t-shirt vendor on-site to print inaugural CHARCS Invitational t-shirts, with an original design on front, and all attendees listed on the back. Only schools that have sent in their rosters to Eric Miller (emiller@chaknights.org) by the end of the day on October 5th will have their names listed.
You may mail entry fees to the address below or bring them to the meet.

Christian Heritage Academy and Roanoke Catholic School would like to invite all local Christian or private schools to the first annual CHARCS Private School XC Invitational.
Location:
The meet will be held Saturday morning, October 11th at the Christian Heritage campus in Rocky Mount, VA.
Schedule:
7:30am Course open and tour
9:00am Combined MS 3K
9:30am Varsity Girls 5K
10:15am Varsity Boys 5K
11:15am Awards
Fees:
$50 per team (5 or more) or $10 per athlete. $100 max per school.
Make checks out to "Christian Heritage Academy" and mail to the attention of Eric Miller, 625 Glennwood Drive, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
Awards:
Medals to the top 5 runners in each race (MS boys/girls will be separated) and trophies to the top varsity teams.
Concessions:
Baked goods, snacks, and drinks will be sold.

Directions:
From Roanoke on 220S, take the third Rocky Mount exit (220Bus). At the top of the ramp, turn right on Doe Run Rd and immediately turn right on 220Bus.
From Martinsville on 220N, take the first Rocky Mount Exit (220Bus)
THEN follow 220Bus, take a left at the first light (Scuffling Hill Rd), take a left on the first paved road (Glennwood Dr) and CHAs campus is at the bottom of the hill.
