FINAL INSTRUCTIONS/INFO

Wristbands (3) are included in packet and must be worn by coaches to enter/exit track facility or access hospitality area (located at the concession stand). If you need extra please see Coach Neil Mathews.

Athletes must exit and re-enter the facility through the athlete gate, which is located next to the greenhouse area.

Athletes in the 3200, MS 800, 100/110 Hurdles, 100 Dash, 4x800, and all 1600s can check in any time after arriving at the meet to receive their hip numbers. The athlete will be responsible for being at the starting line and in the correct sections. We will clerk all lane events behind the start line on the track. Send your athletes to the start line race ready!!!!

For all events after the 1600s (4x100 through 4x400) athletes/relays will need to declare at the clerks tables located at the greenhouse. This will begin at noon. All athletes without a check mark will be scratched. We will reseed each event to save valuable time. Athletes will return to check-in and pick up hip numbers when called. NOTE: Please do not check in all your athletes until you know they are present and will compete. No additions or changes!!!

Please keep non-competing athletes off of the infield area please!!!! Warm-ups and practice handoffs must be done on the practice fields (located behind the large home bleachers or at the middle school). Note: Athletes must stay clear of shot/discus area as well.

Distance races will use 1 turn stagger for 3200, 1600, and 800 to accommodate larger sections.

Some middle school events have limited entries and have been combined (boys & girls together) to help speed the meet.

Please use the provided trash bags to keep your areas clean!! Thanks!

Results will be posted on the white concession stand near the finish line area as soon as they are available. Please do not disturb timing officials as this prevents us from running the meet as fast as possible.

In case of Lightning we will delay for 30 minutes from time of flash. Teams and coaches are to return to their buses or move inside the school to the commons area and await announcement that the meet will resume. We will try to run the meet in the rain if conditions permit.

Awards can be picked up at the awards tent after results have been posted. Team Awards will be given out at the conclusion of the 4x400 Relays. New Custom Medals this Year!!!!

BayScreen Graphics will be selling Lee-Davis Invitational shirts and apparel all-day. Pricing ranges from $12 and up.

No tents in the bleachers below the top row. Please make sure they are secured!
BUSES:

Have buses drop athletes off at the stadium and then park at the middle school down below the high school. If that lot is full, they will have to park off site at the shopping center lots across Rt. 360 from the school!

THIS MEET IS NOW CLOSED TO ALL NEW TEAMS. WE HAVE REACHED OUR LIMIT ON TEAMS. TEAMS THAT HAVE ENTERED MAY CONTINUE TO ENTER AND EDIT ATHLETES UP TO THE ENTRY DEADLINE ON 4/15/15 AT 11:59PM EST. FACILITY: An 8 lane all-weather track. Spikes of (no longer) are recommended. Throwing surfaces are concrete. All Jumping surfaces are all-weather rubber.

EVENTS: We will offer all standard outdoor track & field events contested at the state meet as well as a Freshman 1600 meter run. The 3200 will be run first thing in the morning to beat the heat and give the athletes the best opportunity for a quality performance.

ENTRY LIMITATIONS: 2015 entry limitations per event:
Middle School Individual Events 3 entries max (100, 800, 1600)
Middle School Relays 2 team max(4x100, 4x400)
Distance Events (3200, 1600, 800, Freshman 1600) 6 entries max
Sprints/Hurdles (110/100HH, 100, 200, 300H, 400) 4 entries max
Field Events (Shot put, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault) 3 entries max
Relays (4x800, 4x100, 4x400) 2 Relay entries max
**Additional entries to the above limitations can be made for $5.00 per individual entry and $10.00 per relay**

DEADLINES: The entries must be done online via the Milesplit online entry system. The entry cutoff will be 11:59pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

ENTRY FEE: Middle School $75.00 per gender per team or $10.00 per individual. Max entry fee $150.00
High School $125.00 per gender per team or $10.00 per individual. Max entry fee $250.00
(Each paid team will also receive coachs meals and hospitality area located in the large press box available at start of the meet.)

AWARDS: The top three (3) individuals and the top relay team (1) will receive "NEW" custom medals. The top two (2) teams will also receive custom engraved plaques.

CONCESSIONS: There will be a concession stand with a grill open during the meet.

T-SHIRTS: There will be 2015 Lee-Davis Invitational meet t-shirts and apparel available at the meet provided by Bay Screen Graphics!

ADMISSION: There will be an admission fee of $5.00 charged for all parents and spectators. Athletes and Coaches may enter and leave the facility through the athlete gate located by the school greenhouse.

SCRATCHES: Please e-mail any scratches as soon as possible. You may scratch the day of the meet, but no additions or substitutions will be accepted on the day of the meet.

INFIELD: No athletes will be allowed on the infield unless their event is being run. The area of the finish line is off limits. Times and results will be posted. Coaches are asked to stay away from the timing booth. Direct any disputes to Coach Mathews. Please instruct your athletes to warm up outside the stadium. The track is for races only.

ENTRY PROCEDURE: All Teams will enter through Milestat at www.milestat.com. You must enter your team on Milestat in order to be entered in the meet. (No Exceptions) Coaches please be considerate and use accurate seeding marks to improve overall meet quality. Extra entries should be emailed to, Neil Mathews at smathews@hcps.us, no later than the entry deadline of 11:59pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 Middle School Teams may also enter by using attached form and an email entry to Neil Mathews, Meet Director, at smathews@hcps.us no later than 11:59pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
