Saxon Track Classic 2007

Park View's Natalie Baird wasted no time throwing close to top form in the discus throw at the Saxon Track Classic at Langley High School as the one of the country's top returning discus throwers opened with a mark of 146'9" this past weekend. Baird looks to defend her AA state title and go after the all-time state record. (Photo by Brandon Miles) First weekend of outdoor track in Virginia kicked off this weekend with a large number of schools attending the All-American Track Classic in Richmond, while also two invitationals being run off up north in the Saxon Track Classic at Langley High School as well as the Brian Watkins I-95 Invite at Potomac Senior High School. Complete results are now up from all three major meets. Photos and video to come from the All-American Track Classic and do not forget this is the first weekend that we are entering all times/marks from weekend invites!
