Tired of poor times because of our hilly Region of Virginia? Come join us for the 2nd annual Alleghany XC Invitational that will be held this year at the Jackson River Sports Complex. This course is extremely fast, with 67 total feet of elevation and a groomed grass surface, which will produce phenomenal times at this point in the season.
Alleghany will host Conference 31 on this course this season.
Registration Deadline is Saturday, September 24th.

Timing
This meet will be timed by Run Roanoke.
Scoring and Uniforms
We will follow the NFHS Rules Book for Scoring and Uniforms. See the NFHS T&F/XC rules book if you need. Spikes are recommended for this course.
Awards
Awards will be given to individuals immediately following each race. Team awards will be given out as soon as possible following the Varsity event.
Awards will be given to the Top 10 finishers in the Varsity race, top 5 in the JV race,
Team Trophy will be awarded to top team in each race.
Sanctioning
This meet will be sanctioned.
Entry Fees
Middle School
$40 per gender for Middle school teams ($70 for both)
$5 per individual if less than five runners
High School
$70 per gender for High school teams ($130 for both)
$10 per individual if less than five runners
$5 for Elementary School Runners

Submitting Entries
All entries will be done through milestat.com with the exception of Elementary and Open runners
ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th at Midnight.

Middle School Registration
Can register online at Milestat.com (see high school registration above) or email the race director with the grade, gender and name of your athletes.
Results
Will be posted at the meet and will be sent to Milestat.com.
Concessions
Gatorade, Water, Fruit, Snacks, and lunch items will be available for purchase.
Restrooms will be available on site
Team Area
Teams will have a designated area. We ask that everyone be respectful of our host site and clean up after ourselves when we leave (trash bags will be provided).
Athletic Trainers
We will have an athletic trainer available on site for limited assistance.
Water Coolers and Gatorade will be available for athletes before and after the race.

From the East: I-64 West to Exit 14 in Covington. Take a right and travel 1 mile on S. Durant Road/Jackson Street. Take a left on S. Rayon Drive and cross a bridge over the Jackson River. After bridge, road veers to the left and Jackson River Sports Complex will be on the left. The Sports Complex is 1.4 miles off of I-64.
From the West: I-64 East to Exit 14 in Covington. Take a right and travel 1 mile on S. Durant Road/Jackson Street. Take a left on S. Rayon Drive and cross a bridge over the Jackson River. After bridge, road veers to the left and Jackson River Sports Complex will be on the left. The Sports Complex is 1.4 miles off of I-64.
Parking Information
Parking will be available on site. There will be a $5.00 fee per vehicle Spectator Fee (team buses and vans exempt).
